I've spent a career on the front line of selling — and the lesson that stuck is simple: businesses don't win on noise. They win on trust, direction and follow-through.
Early on I learned that the best salespeople aren't the slickest talkers. They're the ones who help first, who do what they say, and who never let a person fall through the cracks. That principle became a methodology, and the methodology became a book.
But a methodology only matters if it's built into how a business actually operates. So I stopped just advising and started building — the websites, the CRM systems, the funnels and the follow-up that turn scattered effort into a system that runs whether you're watching it or not. Strategy first, then built by the same hands.
Today I work with businesses across South Africa in property, hospitality, retail and professional services. The compass in my mark isn't decoration — direction is the whole point. Most businesses don't need more marketing. They need to know where they're going, and a system that gets them there.
When I'm not building, I'm usually on the road — long-distance running keeps the thinking clear.
